Astrology Remedies for Jupiter or Brihaspati
Jupiter or Guru Brihaspati is a benevolent planet and disperses all positivity around it. Being the symbol of wisdom and prosperity, it bestows upon the devotees luck and good life. But at times, things go wrong. If the placement of Jupiter is not in the correct place in the horoscope chart, then Jupiter becomes harsh on that person and brings bad luck. In such a condition, Brihaspati would have a negative effect. The benevolent Brihaspati would be malefic and the wrath of Jupiter would make the life of the person worse.
Remedies to Impress the Guru
To bring back the favour of Guru Brihaspati, you need to pacify him and thus acquire his blessings. To do so, there are many remedies suggested by our Vedic scripts and also astronomy. Following those rituals would ensure the well-being as it reduces the ill-impacts of GurudevBrihaspati. Performing at least three of the following is sufficient to calm down Jupiter when it is in a malefic position.
- Use of Gemstone/Mani: Yellow Sapphire gemstone is dominated by Brihaspati. Wearing the Pukhraj or Yellow Sapphire help to vanish the malefic effects of the greatest planet of the solar system. It should be worn on Thursday in index finger and placed in a gold ring. The stone should be at least 3.5 -4 carat based on the placement of Brihaspati. Before wearing the gem, it should go through the process of Shuddhikaran or purification in pure milk, honey, ghee, curd and Ganga jal. One has to chant the Brihaspati mantra during the process of purification.
- Fasting/Vrat: Fasting on Thursdays is a great way to pacify the wrath of Brihaspati. Keeping Vrat, according to Hindu customs, is the best way to seek blessings of the deities. The seeker of blessings should wear yellow clothes and offer yellow fruits to the Lord. To water banana tree and then worshipping it is a ritual to be followed. One should eat only once in the entire day, preferably Channa dal and pure ghee.
- Mantra/Japa: Chanting Brihaspati mantra for 108 times to 51,000 times, would bring back the blessings of Jupiter and place it at the right position in the horoscope chart. One has to perform the ritual with all sincerity and devotion. The accurate pronunciation of the mantra “Om JhramJhreemJroumSahGuraveNamah” is very important and one has to chant it at one sitting.
- Daana/Charity: The malefic effects can be toned down by performing charity. One needs to donate jaggery, turmeric, Gram dal, brown sugar, sweets, topaz, ruby, gold, copper, kesar and pale yellow clothes. All these are favourites of Lord Brihaspati and so offering these specific items are sure to pacify him. These donations should be made to saints or sages who are related to spirituality and religion. Early morning or evenings of Thursdays are the best time for charity in the name of the Guru.
Worshipping Lord Shiva and Vishnu along with the banana and a banyan tree everyday brings back the blessings of the planet and showers again the wisdom, luck and prosperity.
